The Sentinel Plus SS5+ is built and tested to exceed the requirements of BS 7558:1992. Gun Safe Installation Inside a Deep Fitted Wardrobe
Discretion was an important part of this installation. The tall, slim cabinet was integrated into the left-hand section of the deep fitted wardrobe, allowing it to remain concealed from general view while still being accessible to the certificate holder.
Our installation team used all four rear fixing holes to secure the cabinet into the masonry wall behind the wardrobe with expanding anchors. Two additional strong screws were installed through the base fixing holes and into the wardrobe floor.
The four rear masonry anchors provided the principal structural fixing, while the two base screws added further stability within the wardrobe. This six-point fixing arrangement securely anchored the cabinet and helped resist levering and removal without affecting the neat appearance of the fitted furniture.
Seven-Lever Lock Demonstration and Customer Handover
Once the cabinet had been securely installed, we demonstrated the seven-lever double-throw key lock and showed the customer how to operate the door and locking system correctly.
We also discussed sensible key security and the importance of ensuring that cabinet keys remain accessible only to authorised certificate holders. The customer was shown the internal gun divider and top shelf so that the cabinet could be organised safely and conveniently.
