(case study 01382)

Here we have another example of a Burton Torino S2 (Size 2E) Digital Safe that we supplied and installed for our customer in Berkhamsted. The customer wanted an S2 rated safe that would give them coverage for insurance valuables up to £40,000.

They didn't want it to large and they wanted it installed up on this shelf at the top of the chest of drawers in a built-in wardrobe. They were also very keen on the fact that this safe comes with emergency keys.

Routinely this particular safe is operated with a 6 digit PIN, it's a battery operated safe but does come with emergency keys.

Interestingly this safe, although marketed by Burton Safes in the UK, is actually a safe made by Technomax in Italy. On our website you will find it as the Bloomsbury range.

We demonstrated the safe, how to change the code, how to use the emergency keys, how to change the batteries etc. We cleaned up the work area, left the client with the user instructions and all was good.

Berkhamsted is a sophisticated market town nestled in the Gade Valley, where the rugged beauty of the Chiltern Hills meets a rich, medieval heritage. Famous as the site where the crown was offered to William the Conqueror in 1066, the town is still watched over by the flint-walled ruins of Berkhamsted Castle. This deep sense of history is balanced by a vibrant, modern energy, centred around a thriving High Street filled with independent boutiques, upscale eateries, and the stunning Art Deco Rex Cinema, widely considered one of the most beautiful movie houses in the country. The town’s character is inextricably linked to the Grand Union Canal, which cuts a scenic path through the centre. On sunny weekends, the towpath becomes a social artery for walkers and cyclists, while the local pubs with waterside terraces offer a perfect vantage point for watching colourful narrowboats navigate the locks. With the vast, ancient woodlands of the Ashridge Estate just a short drive away and a fast rail link that puts London Euston only thirty minutes away, Berkhamsted has become the premier choice for those seeking a "town and country" lifestyle that refuses to compromise on culture or convenience.
