Burton Torino S2 Size 4E Digital Safe Fitted in North West London
(case study 01401)
In this safe installation, a client in Harlesden, North West London required a fairly large safe for valuables in the region of £40,000. We recommended the Burton Torino S2 Size 4E Digital Safe. This safe has the benefit of having four fixing holes on the rear and four fixing holes on the base, giving a total of eight fixing holes for a robust installation.
In this particular installation, the client wanted the Burton Torino S2 Size 4E Digital Safe to be installed in a hidden location, not easily visible but at the same time easy to access. We suggested fitting it at the bottom of their wardrobe for convenience of access and a strong fixing point. After drilling four holes into the brick wall behind the wardrobe, four heavy-duty expanding anchors were inserted into the four rear fixing holes, through the wardrobe panel and into the brick wall behind the wardrobe. Then four screws were used for the bottom four holes to screw into the wardrobe base. This dual fixing ensured a very robust installation which is what the insurance companies require for a safe installation.
After the installation, our engineer removed all packaging, removed all of the tools and cleaned up and then demonstrated to the client how to use the safe. The Burton Torino S2 Size 4E Digital Safe features a user programmable 6 digit PIN code digital lock which is battery operated. In addition to the digital lock, this safe also includes two emergency override keys, which allow you to access the safe in the event of forgetting the PIN code. The client was very happy with the installation and remarked about how tidy the installation looked.
