17 Litres of Organised Storage
The safe measures 410mm high, 335mm wide and 300mm deep externally, with an additional 45mm allowance for the hinges.
It weighs 55kg and provides approximately 17 litres of internal space, with one adjustable and removable shelf.
The shelf allows jewellery, watches, passports, cash and other valuables to be arranged across two levels or removed when taller items need to be stored.
Installed Inside the Under-Stairs Cupboard
The safe was positioned inside the existing under-stairs cupboard, keeping it outside the immediate line of sight while remaining straightforward to reach.
Its position was checked so that the door and electronic keypad could be operated without catching the cupboard door or surrounding woodwork.
The safe was professionally anchored using an expanding 120mm anchor bolt through the rear of the safe and into the brick wall. Then the base was secured to the wooden floor using a 70mm screw.
Electronic Lock and Three-Way Boltwork
The VdS Class 2 electronic lock supports two user codes and includes a time-delay facility.
Three-way square locking boltwork protects the door, with continuous protection along the hinge side.
Once installed, the safe’s stability, door movement and keypad operation were checked before the cupboard and surrounding area were left clean and ready for use.
