A Compact Eurograde Safe for a Bedroom Wardrobe
Our customer in Odiham wanted an insurance-rated digital safe that would provide good protection for cash and valuables without taking up too much space inside the bedroom. After discussing the available positions, we recommended the Securikey Euro Grade 1 - 1015N Digital Safe and the bedroom wardrobe as the most suitable installation location.
This compact Euro Grade One safe is independently certified to EN 1143-1 Security Grade 1 and carries recommended insurance ratings of £10,000 for cash and £100,000 for valuables.
Using the Block Wall Behind the Wardrobe
During the survey our installer checked the structure behind the wardrobe and confirmed that there was a block wall directly behind the wardrobe rear panel.
This provided the ideal structural fixing point needed for the Eurograde 1 safe. During installation, the fixing position was marked through the rear of the safe and on the wardrobe back before the safe was moved aside to allow the wall to be drilled accurately.
Rear Anchoring with an Expanding Anchor Bolt
After drilling and clearing away the dust, the safe was moved back into position ready for the rear anchor to be installed.
The safe was then secured through its rear fixing hole, through the wardrobe panel and directly into the block wall behind using one heavy-duty expanding anchor bolt.
This gave the EuroGrade I safe a direct structural fixing to the wall while allowing the finished installation to remain discreetly contained within the wardrobe.
Finished, Cleaned and Ready to Use
The Securikey 1015N provides 17 litres of internal storage and is supplied with one adjustable and removable shelf, giving useful storage within a relatively small Grade 1 safe.
After the installation work was complete, our installer cleaned any remaining tools and installation dust.
The customer was then shown how to programme and operate the digital keypad and was given their certificate of installation before our installer left.

About Odiham, Hampshire RG29
Odiham is a historic Hampshire settlement with roots stretching back to Saxon Wessex. It appears prominently in the Domesday Book of 1086 as a large royal manor and retains a strong historic character around its broad High Street, The Bury and All Saints Church.
