Bloomsbury 40K Size 2 Safe Installed in a Fitted Cupboard – Belgravia SW1V

London & Home Counties Safes recently supplied and professionally installed a Bloomsbury 40K Size 2 Digital Safe for a homeowner in Pimlico, Central London SW1V. The customer wanted a compact, insurance-rated home safe that could be discreetly fitted inside an existing built-in cupboard for the protection of jewellery, cash, passports and important documents.

After measuring the available space and discussing the customer’s required level of protection, we recommended the Bloomsbury 40K Size 2. This EN 14450 S2-certified safe has a recommended insurance rating of £4,000 for cash or £40,000 for valuables.

The Bloomsbury Size 2 was particularly suitable for this installation because its flush-fitting keypad and compact 277mm height allow it to fit inside many bedroom cupboards and fitted storage units. Despite its relatively compact dimensions, it provides a 31-litre internal capacity with a removable shelf. Our installers drilled through the rear panel of the fitted cupboard and secured the safe into the brick wall behind it using heavy-duty masonry anchors. Additional fixings were installed through the base of the safe into the supporting cupboard structure. This rear-and-base fixing arrangement helps resist levering and removal while keeping the safe discreetly concealed.

We also provided some general advice on home security including burglar alarms and locks for doors and windows.

The client was very happy, we demonstrated how to set the client's unique PIN code for the safe.

We fully cleaned up after us, removing all debris, cardboard boxes etc after the safe installation in South West London SW1V.
