Installed at the Base of a Fitted Wardrobe
The safe was positioned at the base of a fitted wardrobe, keeping it outside the immediate line of sight while remaining accessible when required.
The selected position allowed the safe to be secured through the wardrobe’s rear panel and provided an additional fixing point through the base of the safe.
One Rear Expanding Anchor Through the Wardrobe Panel
The principal structural fixing was one heavy-duty expanding anchor installed through the safe’s rear fixing point, through the wardrobe’s rear panel and into the wall behind it.
The original installation record does not identify the wall as brick, concrete or another particular masonry type, so no more specific wall material has been assumed.
Additional Fixing into the Wardrobe Base
One additional fixing was installed through the safe’s bottom fixing hole and into the wardrobe base.
The rear expanding anchor provided the principal structural connection to the wall. The additional screw into the wardrobe base helped support and stabilise the safe within the fitted furniture.
Together, the rear and base fixings helped resist the safe being pulled forward or moved from its installed position.
Electronic Keypad and Personal Code Setup
The safe was fitted with a high-security electronic keypad operated using a personal access code.
Once the installation was complete, we demonstrated the keypad and showed the customer how to set their own personal code.
Customer Handover and Cleanup
We also explained the general maintenance and day-to-day operation of the safe so the customer understood how to use the electronic lock correctly.
After completing the installation and customer handover, all tools and installation debris were removed and the wardrobe area was left clean and tidy.
