VdS Class 2 Electronic Lock
The safe is fitted with a VdS Class 2 electronic lock. It supports two user codes and includes a time-delay facility, allowing access settings to be configured around the customer’s requirements.
The electronic keypad allows the safe to be operated using a personal access code.
Three-Way Locking Boltwork
The door is secured by three-way square locking boltwork, with continuous protection along the hinge side.
The door also incorporates a fire seal which the product specification describes as offering approximately 30 minutes’ protection at 750°C. This should not be treated as independently certified document-fire protection unless the relevant test certification is available.
Completed Installation and Cleanup
Once the safe had been installed, the installer removed the packaging and tidied the wardrobe and surrounding work area.
The customer was very pleased with the completed installation and the way the compact Grade 1 safe fitted within the wardrobe.
